Google Chrome gives users a very annoying Error 324 and does not load many webpages. There are some causes to this problem which can easily be fixed and let you go back to surfing without a problem.

When you get the Error message  Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error. This error called Error 324 in Google Chrome while trying to open a website. Do not panic, this is mostly just a browser cache problem you do not any malware or any major problem with your computer so you do not need any special software to fix this error.

This is sometimes because of caching in your browser or cookies and the way your internet connection is trying to load the page. It is simply just a browser bug in Google Chrome and will probably be fixed on a new update of the browser .

Here are some solutions to solve this error:

  • The first thing to try is to go to Options and clicking Reset to Defaults. Then, refresh the page or just press F5

  • The second way is to simply just restart (close and open again) your Chrome

  • Sometimes, it can be your internet connection causing the error when browsing sites in Chrome. So just restart your internet connection.

I hope this helps you fix this problem.

Remember: there could be a conflict with some security program that you have installed. Also, clearing the cache can help and you can also choose to reset to defaults.
